Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup samwa millet sama
  • 1/2 cup buckwheat kuttu
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 cup mashed riped bananas
  • A pinch of black salt
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash and soak the sawa millet and buckwheat separately in enough water for atleast 1 hour
  2. Blend the samwa millet and buckwheat separately by adding 2 tbsp of water in a mixer to a fine paste.
  3. Combine samwa paste, buckwheat paste, coconut, jaggery, banana, rock salt and cardamom powder in a bowl and mix well
  4. Heat a non stick tava, pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it in a circular motion to make a 3" diameter thin pancake
  5. Cook on both side till golden brown from both sides
  6. Repeat to make more pancakes.
  7. Serve hot with sweetened curds
