Chicken Tandoori Kebab

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 chicken breast cubes
  • 1 onion cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper cubes
  • 1 yellow bell pepper cubes
  • 1 green bell pepper cubes
  • 1 tomato cubes

Marination

  • 1 cup hung curd
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1.5 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi

Instructions

  1. Cut onion, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, tomato and chicken in cubes.
  2. In a bowl mix all ingredients under marination.
  3. Add chicken breast and vegetables and mix again.
  4. Let it marinate for minimum 1 hour.
  5. When you ready to cook put the chicken and veggies on skewers.
  6. Heat vegetable oil on a grill pan or regular non-stick pan.
  7. Cook chicken for 6 minutes from each side.
  8. Now to give it the smokey tandoor flavour to the chicken. Roast chicken directly over the flame.
  9. Chicken is ready when edges are almost dark brown!
  10. Serve with green chutney and onion rings.

Your pan should be piping hot so that your chicken doesn't stick to the pan and you get a cool charred effect.
