Carrots and Oats Kozhukattai

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 3 tbsp Semolina
  • 1/4 cup Grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Grated ginger
  • 1 tsp Green chili chopped)
  • 2 tbsp grated coconut
  • 1 sprig curry leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander chopped
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1/4 tsp Eno
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Take the oats, semolina, carrots, onions, ginger, green chilly, coconut, curry leaves and coriander in a bowl.
  2. Add eno, curd, salt, mix everything well.
  3. Sprinkle some water (if needed) and turn everything as a dough.
  4. Now make medium dumplings, arrange them on a greased idli plate and steam them for 15 mins or till they are cooked.
  5. Serve hot with chutney
