Pav Bhaji

Ingredients

  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion 2 chopped
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3 chopped finely
  • Green peas 1/4 cup
  • Green Chili 2 chopped finely
  • Capsicum 1/2 cup chopped finely
  • Paneer 1 cup crumbled
  • Raw banana 1 diced
  • Carrot 1 diced
  • Cauliflower florets 1/2 cup
  • Beetroot 1/4 cup diced
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Pav Bhaji Masala Powder 3 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coriander 2 tbsp finely chopped
  • lemon juice 2 tsp
  • Brown pav to serve

Instructions

  1. Boil carrot, peas, banana, cauliflower and beetroot.
  2. Now heat oil and butter in a pan, add cumin and let them sizzle.
  3. Add onion and cook till it turns brown and becomes soft.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for a min.
  5. Add capsicum, green chillies and saute them.
  6. Add in tomatoes and cook them down till it gets mushy.
  7. Add in pav bhaji masala powder , turmeric powder, red chilin powder and salt and mix well.
  8. Add in veggie mix along with paneer and mash it well using a masher or back of your spoon.
  9. Add in coriander and lemon juice, mix well and serve with brown pav.
