Soak the dates in the milk for 20 mins.

Take the flour in a bowl and add the warm milk little by little to make a smooth dough.

Cover it with a damp cloth and keep aside for 10-12 minutes.

This makes the dough softer and more pliable.

Make a coarse paste of dates with the milk they were soaked.

Heat 1 tsp ghee into a non-stick pan and add the dates mixture, sesame seeds and jaggery and cook on medium flame till the mixture leaves the pan.

Once the mixture cools down divide it into 10 equal portions and keep aside.

Take 10 equal portions one by one and roll thinly.

Place a portion of the stuffing mixture and close the edges.

Roll to make thin puranpolis.

Prepare all puranpolis like this and keep aside.

Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame and cook each puranpoli till golden brown in colour using 1/4 tsp ghee on each side.

Serve hot
