Tired of eating the regular old popcorn? Well, we have curated this recipe just for your movie nights to ditch the old snacks and munch on to this new recipe, baked chicken popcorn. It is easy to make and as it is baked it has the healthy factor too! So, no more hunger pangs on movie nights! Just sit down with a bowl of baked chicken popcorn and give yourself a delicious treat.
Baked Chicken Popcorn
- 250 gms boneless chicken breast cut in 1" cube
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp tandoori masala
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chat masala
- 1 tbsp hung curd
- 1/4 cup corn flour
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 1 egg whisked
- 1 tbsp oil
Marinate the chicken with 1/4 tsp salt, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, tandoori masala, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp oil and curd for an hour.
In a mixer jar, add cornflakes, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp pepper powder, garlic powder and chat masala and grind to a coarse powder.
Roll the chicken pieces one by one in corn flour then dip it in the egg and finally roll it in cornflakes.
Preheat the oven at 200 degrees C for 20 mins.
Line the baking tray with butter paper and place the chicken on the tray.
Drizzle the remaining oil on the chicken and bake at 200 degrees for 20 mins or till the chicken gets crispy-cooked.
Serve hot with your choice of dip.
