Matki Egg Dosa is a unique breakfast that will soon top your favourite list. This delicious combination of makti and eggs will definitely make your mornings energetic and supremely satisfying. This yummy and healthy breakfast recipe is a combination of matki, egg whites, panner and flavorful Indian spices. Matki is rich in protein. Protein is important for building as well as repairing muscles. Egg whites are the richest source of proteins that you will not even get from the poultry or fish. - 1 cup matki moth dal (soaked overnight in water)
- 2 green chilli
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tbsp water
- ¼ tsp hing
- ¼ cup besan
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 egg white
- ¼ cup paneer grated
- ½ cup onion chopped
- ¼ cup tomato Chopped
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
In a bowl add egg white, paneer, onion, tomato, red chilli powder, salt, coriander leaves
Beat well and keep it aside!
In a grinder, jar add matki (moth) dal, green chilli, cumin seeds and 1 tbsp water.
Grind to make a smooth paste and remove it in a deep bowl.
Add hing, besan, salt and ¼ cup water to it.
Mix it well and make lumps free batter.
Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle full of batter.
Swirl it to make a thin dosa and apply around ½ tsp oil to it
Spread 2 tbsp of stuffing mixture on dosa evenly
Cook for 2 minutes and flip aside
Let it cook for 2 more minutes.
Flip it again and cook for another minute.
Clean the pan and repeat for the remaining batter!
Serve hot with onion chutney!
