Learn how to make delicious and healthy Instant Oats Idli. Oats idli is a nutritious healthy breakfast for all those who love South Indian breakfast but don’t want to consume extra calories. Everybody is aware of the health benefits of oats but not everyone enjoys a bowl of oatmeal for their breakfast. So this recipe is a perfect fix for that healthy yet delicious breakfast. This recipe is easy to make and the added veggies increase the health quotient and keep you satiated for long. Oats are high in the soluble fiber beta-glucan, which has numerous benefits. - 1 cup matki moth dal (soaked overnight in water)
- 2 green chilli
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tbsp water
- ¼ tsp hing
- ¼ cup besan
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 egg white
- ¼ cup paneer grated
- ½ cup onion chopped
- ¼ cup tomato Chopped
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
In a bowl add egg white, paneer, onion, tomato, red chilli powder, salt, coriander leaves
Beat well and keep it aside!
In a grinder, jar add matki (moth) dal, green chilli, cumin seeds and 1 tbsp water.
Grind to make a smooth paste and remove it in a deep bowl.
Add hing, besan, salt and ¼ cup water to it.
Mix it well and make lumps free batter.
Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle full of batter.
Swirl it to make a thin dosa and apply around ½ tsp oil to it
Spread 2 tbsp of stuffing mixture on dosa evenly
Cook for 2 minutes and flip aside
Let it cook for 2 more minutes.
Flip it again and cook for another minute.
Clean the pan and repeat for the remaining batter!
Serve hot with onion chutney!
